To distinguish
themselves from any hype of sounding too much like other bands of their genre,
Benton Falls push themselves to another level on this record by getting smaller.
Now a three piece band, Michael, Vance and Eli seem to have more punch to their
sound, a little more emotion put into it. Lyrically, Michael unbears his soul
on this record which in some ways was dark and scarred. This shows in the
bands backup vocals and baselines. I don't skip a song on this album, because
they cohesively exist, even down to the instrumental "broken frame" as the
last song. The darker lyrics are found throughout but are most on display in "This
Housecall Could Kill" and "Race to Die."
I have a few songs on this album that I would consider favorites, "Bitter by Choice" being one of them for it's sheer rawness of sound. As a whole, this album is a dose in what reality can dish out, yet there is hope otherwise there'd be no happiness at all!

As
albums go, I would highly recommend this album. The upbeat yet technical music
is just one reason that I love this album. The different styles in which the
vocals are used really give the whole album a really unique sound. What
I especially like is that there isn't a song on this album that I skip past
as I'm listening. They all hold there own keeping to Falloutboy's sound, but
different enough to stand on their own.
